THE HOUSE

This is for all of our family and friends from Tennessee, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Paris, and Pittsburgh. Remember, the guest room will be available in late June!

The House A 1926 Bungalow (for those who wonder what a bungalow is, check out this manifesto description) -- 3 rooms downstairs, 3 rooms and a bathroom upstairs. For those of you who know School Street, this bathroom is about three times the size.

Another shot of The House Yes, we'll move the garbage cans! I like the porch. The house itself has lots of the original details, wainscoating, small built-in bookshelves, basically a lot of charm.

These shots one, two, and me, were taken in the municipal park just down the street. These are from the middle of local historic village, one, two, and three. (Note: that's bubbling water not pollution.)

A bunch more pictures are now available.

UPDATE

We're well into the painting and papering stage at this point. The floors have been redone. The wood floors look beautiful. The kitchen floor has a nice "Arts and Crafts"-looking rose print. The colors in the study and bed room are different shades of blue-green. Tina calls it whimsical. I just wanted it not to be depressing shades of beige. Got my wish on that score. Check out some of the paper and floor covering choices.

Stay tuned!
